When Spring rolls around, it brings new life to everything, and one of the first holidays we celebrate in springtime is Easter. Today, I want to show you some ridiculously adorable easter sewing projects I’ve gathered from around the interwebs.

She created easy-to-understand instructions and diagrams to be able to make these eggs. All you need to make these are fabric scraps, stuffing, and her free downloadable pattern.

Here is a fantastic free easter basket sewing pattern from Homemade on our Homestead. This is a super detailed tutorial that shows you step-by-step how to make this adorable basket. Don’t worry, it might look a little complicated, but this would make a fantastic beginner sewing project. 

  1. Bunny Ear Scrunchie

What little girl wouldn’t love these scrunchies? This is a straightforward beginner-friendly tutorial from Crystal over at Hello Creative Family. The tutorial includes a free SVG file for the pieces, but if you don’t have a cutting machine (Cricut or Silhouette), she gives suggested cutting instructions to do it by hand. These scrunchies will come together in less than 15 minutes a piece so that you can make a bunch for all your friends and their littles. 

  1. Quilted Easter Basket

Here is another easter basket sewing pattern; you can quilt a gorgeous basket for decor or your kiddo’s egg hunt. Honestly, you could use this free pattern and tutorial to make baskets for all kinds of events. This will be a fun beginner quilter project and should only take a few hours.

Ina from Crafty For Home wrote this free tutorial for creating egg-shaped placemats. Cute, right? She includes a printable pattern to help you cut the egg shapes from fat quarters or yardage. This quick and easy easter sewing project is perfect for beginners.

To create this banner, you only need fabric, felt, glue, twine, thread, and a needle. This would be a fun craft to do with the kids.

Here is a sweet tutorial created by Petro from Easy Peasy Creative Ideas. This tutorial is easy-to-follow and includes pictures of each step to help you visualize how the process works. This would be a great gift to include in your Easter baskets, and it’s something the little girls can wear all year round.
